Reconciliation

This is an Electional Oil made at a time when the conditions were favorable to the creation of talismans and oils that facilitate “durable reconciliation with enemies and with those displeased with me,” according to the Picatrix. This particular election also could have been used to produce a love oil, so it’s entirely possible to use this Reconciliation oil in conjunction with one of our love oils (Love Drawing, Kiss Me Quick, etc.) in order to bring about the desired result.

Carve a short petition, or simply the names of the people who need to be reconciled, into a pink or red candle. If the reconciliation is sought with a particular person, you can place a picture of the person under the candle holder to make an even stronger connection. Anoint the candle with Reconciliation oil, and any other oils that are appropriate, from base to tip, holding the wick towards your body and the base away from your body. You can either burn the candle in one night, focusing strongly on the result you seek as you light the candle, or mark the candle into three, five, or seven equal sections and burn one section each consecutive night. Light the candle at about the same time each night with the same intention in mind, always pinching or snuffing the flame rather than blowing it out as it burns down to the next mark. When the candle is burned down as far as it can safely go, wrap the remnants in cloth and bury the bundle respectfully.

Other uses: Put a drop or two of oil into a your wash water, when cleaning, especially if you know the person will be in your home and will walk across a floor that’s been cleaned with the oil. If your skin has no reaction to a patch test, rub a bit of oil on your hands before interacting with the person. If you are not in physical contact, you can anoint your hands with the oil before sending the person an email, or touch a small amount of the oil to a letter that you will send to them. Anointing your phone with a tiny amount of the oil before you talk to the person can also be effective.
